Dubai Customs as part of the Dubai government smart strategy expects an explosive growth in the number of trade activities as part of Expo 2020. The electronic transactions expo is anticipated to produce will require the organization to rethink its ICT ecosystem. Enterprise Architecture team responded to the challenge with a successful TOGAF 9.1 adoption project, resulting in a holistic view of the As-Is situation, and formalizing the ideas for the To-Be initiatives, toward maximizing the resources’ effectiveness and reusability, though cost reduction for the implementation.
