It was a great evening indeed. 27 companies from across the world walked away with the iCMG Architecture Excellence Award 2014 during the glittering awards night held at The Mövenpick Hotel, Bangalore on the 18th of November, 2014.
The winners were selected from more than 170 nominations for four different categories - technical, business, enterprise and industry verticals.
Ronald Ross, considered to be the father of Business Rules, has graced the occasion by accepting the 'iCMG Hall of Fame Award', presented to him by John Zachman.

Starting this year, iCMG is happy to initiate a new award category, i.e., "Top 25 Global Business CIOs 2014" to recognize CIOs contribution to the growth of their organization using Enterprise & IT Architecture. This award also acknowledges CIOs ability to use architecture practise to prepare organizations for rapid change, support growth initiatives and influence capabilities that serve as "business differentiator."

I am happy to share the finalists for the 2014 edition of Global Enterprise & IT Architecture Award competition. Only, 45 entries (out of 170 entries) have moved to the final round who are competing for 23 awards. In most categories, Jury members have shortlisted two finalists. In few categories such as Transformation and Planning, Customer Oriented Buisness Model etc. there are more than three finalists each. The most important people in the Award competition are the jurors. An independent jury decision making has been key instrument in ensuring the effective implementation of evaluation process.
