Project Description
To bring in more transparency for content price that a customer pays, Telecom Regulation Authorities of India (TRAI) have published tariff guidelines. Before the regime introduction, there were fixed set of prebundled packages which was offered to consumers. Under the regime, broadcaster will publish MRP for each channel and customer has to select channels and bouquet which they would like to watch. On top of it distribution platforms such as Tatasky can charge Network Carriage Fee(NCF) which is a function of number of channels which customer has opted for. New QOS parameters has been introduced and all existing customers has to be migrated in given timeframe imposed by TRAI.
